2U, Black ABS UL94-VO plastic rack mount clamshell case. Vented sides with removable front & rear panels. Internal standoffs on top & bottom.

Interesting Product
I needed a rack-mount box for a small controller project. I initially wanted a 1 RU box, but going through my transformer collection showed they were all too big. So I sent off the order for this one. And shortly afterward, I acquired a smaller transformer. Nuts. Really wanted a 1 RU box. As it turns out, this can be used either as a 1 RU or a 2 RU, the only difference being the side panel spacers and the front & rear panel size. I had no intention of using the supplied front and rear panels, instead opting for something more professional since it was going into a broadcast environment. I made careful measurements and sent off an order to Front Panel Express and then kept my fingers crossed. The panels arrived today and they look and fit perfectly. For light-weight projects, this box really fills the bill.
